Good Neighbors International Nepal proudly handed over School Nutrition and WASH facilities to Dilpeshwor Secondary School (Dipayal Silgadhi), and Harihar & Siddheshwor Secondary Schools (Shikhar Municipality).

This milestone marks the successful completion of a one-year ,Advancing Nutritional Status of School Children in Doti project funded by MoFAJapan, supported by  Good Neighbors Japan and implemented in partnership with Community Development Center (CDC) and Equality Development Center (EDC), benefiting 8 schools across Doti. The upgraded facilities include: School kitchens for nutritious Mid-day meals, Child, gender, disability & MHM-friendly toilets, Bio-sand filter drinking water systems, Waste pits for proper sanitation.

The handover was graced by Mr. Baji Singh Khadka, Mayor of Dipayal Silgadhi, Mr. Dirgha Bahadur Balayar, Mayor of Shikhar Municipality, Sunita Rawal Jora, Deputy Mayor, along with school committees, teachers, parents, students, and local stakeholders.Across the 8 schools, the project delivered: 16 toilets, 8 school kitchens,8 drinking water systems and 8 waste pits.
